The school hosts a variety of Inter-School, Zonal, Divisional, District and State level Outdoor events in Athletics, Throwball, Volley ball, Kabbaddi, Kho-Kho, Karate. Indoor games like Carrom, Chess and Table-Tennis is also organized. For the past five years, J. G. Hindu Vidyalaya Matric. Hr. Sec. School students get selected for the State Level Throwball matches consistently. Even during the Pandemic, Miss. Sowdanya was selected for the State-level Throwball match conducted at Thirunelveli.
Yuva Milan – a Conclave of the students of Hindu Vidyalayas of Chennai & Kanyakumari Districts was organized. Inter – School Sports was conducted. The grand event was organized at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The Hon’ble Governor of Tamilnadu, Sri. Banwarilal Purohit Ji was the Chief guest. Shri. K. Pandiyarajan, the Minister for Tamil Official Language released a souvenir Culture and Archaeology & the Honourable Minsiter for Sports & Youth Welfare, Shri. Bala Krishna Reddy hoisted the Sports Flag.
