Yoga is an activity that includes breathing techniques, asanas and mindfulness. Our school regularly practices yoga for students to improve concentration and learn better, strengthen core and promote the control of the body in bringing flexibility, endurance of the mind by enhancing alertness and meditation.
On June 21st, we celebrated international yoga day with the blessings of Founder President, VHVK Sri. S. Vedantam Ji and Correspondent Dr. Smt. Girija Seshadri.
Smt. P. Dhanalakshmi, AE, Zone-134, Greater Chennai Corporation was the Chief Guest of the event. Principal Trainee Dr. M. Balasaraswathi delivered the welcome address quoting the theme of yoga day 2022, “Yoga for Humanity”
Students performed various asanas including surya namaskar with utmost co-ordination and perfection. The Chief Guest expressed her delight fulness and highly appreciated the students.
