UNITED SCHOOLS ORGANIZATION (USO), has been associated with our schools for over 3 decades in conducting UN exams. This year USO had organised DHANGYAN FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS to bring out innovative ideas from the students to stabilize themselves independently in their lives.

This year USO conducted A Free financial literacy programme for school students for the students of classes VIII to XII.In G.K.Shetty Hindu Vidyalaya school, 67 students from class VIII & IX participated.
In January the an online webinar on smart goals, Budgeting & Insurance, Investment as well as Banking was organised by USO. Students were instructed to submit 5 to 10 modules before 31st January. All the participants submitted the models. It was followed by an online MCQ test based on the above topics on 3rd February. Those who completed the tests successfully received the E certificates. Among them the toppers were given a special project to present a ppt for the following topic.

“You receive Rs.25 lakhs as an inheritance from your grandfather. How will you use the money?”

Master.Hanumanth CHinthamani of class IX prepared a PPT under the guidance of the Social teacher Mrs.B.Rajalakshmi. This PPT was sent to USO as the next level. It satisfied the expected criteria of the USO and got selected one among the 11 schools and he got the opportunity to present the PPT in person in Delhi for the final round.It was a moment of pride that he was able to compete with others and won the 2nd place for his brilliant presentation with a merit certificate, shield, and a memento to our school. We wholeheartedly thank the management, our revered President, Sri.VedanthamJi, our most respected Honorary Correspondent, Dr.Girija Seshadhri who provided a platform and remained the source of inspiration to all of us.
