For the past 18 years, J. G. Hindu Vidyalaya Matric. Hr. Sec. School has hosted Rasika Fine Arts, an Annual Music Festival. Eminent Artists like Lalgudi Sri. Krishnan, Prince Sri. Rama Varma, Smt. Nithyashree Mahadevan, Smt. Gayathri Venkatraghavan, Sri. Abhishek Raguram, Smt. Mahathi, Sri. Bharat Sundar and etc.

Our Students took part in the Bagh Sakha Tiger T- Shirt Painting Competition and exhibited their talents and won prizes in the National level.

Endru Thaniyum Inda Suthanthira Thagam – A special Dance drama based on the India’s Independence was conceived by Dr. Smt. Girija Seshadri, based on Mahakavi Subramania Bharathiyar’s songs.The music for the programme was composed by the world renowned Musician, Madurai Sri. T. N. Seshagopalan. Dance was choreographed by our Alumni, Smt. Veena Seshadri and her Guru Smt. Malathi Srinivasan. We take deep pride that every dancer in this production was either a current student or an alumnus of the school.

Every year, J. G. Hindu Vidyalaya Matric. Hr. Sec. School organizes Inter- School Math Talent Test.
